Your Support Has Amplified Impact

KGOU - Ross DeFehr

This is the Manager’s Minute.

The Thanksgiving Holiday is a reminder of the importance of appreciating our blessings and helping others. In the spirit of generosity and community, KGOU is partnering with the law firm of  Phillips Murrah and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help feed those who don’t have enough to eat.

Right now, with a donation to KGOU, you’ll be supporting fearless, factual news coverage in the new year. And you’ll also help provide meals to children and adults in Oklahoma experiencing food insecurity.   For every year-end donation to KGOU, Phillips Murrah will donate funding for forty meals through the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Our goal is 500 donations and 20-thousand meals.

Think of it as doubling your impact – a donation to KGOU and helping alleviate hunger, thanks to Phillips Murrah, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma…and you!

Get into the spirit of giving by donating now at KGOU.ORG.

Thanks.

Until next time, with the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.

Dick Pryor has more than 30 years of experience in public service media, having previously served as deputy director, managing editor, news manager, news anchor and host for OETA, Oklahoma’s statewide public TV network. He was named general manager of KGOU Radio in November 2016.
