Thank You For Your Loyal Support

This is the Manager’s Minute.

Public broadcasting stations across the country have seen listening habits change in 2020 – largely because fewer people have been commuting to work and listening while they drive. We’ve been concerned about how the coronavirus might change the amount of private giving we receive, so it’s been gratifying to see the results of our fall fundraiser.

KGOU is less than $2,000 behind last year’s total fall pledge drive donations, and our number of donors has remained steady. Year over year we are less than 10% behind in the number of sustainers, but we’ve had a 44% increase in additional gifts.

So, this is a big THANK YOU to our regular donors and sustaining members who give every year, and to those listeners who decided to chip in for the first time this year. By donating, you’re helping KGOU continue to provide the programs and services you expect and that your communities need.

Thanks!

With the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
