A former physician assistant has been bound over for trial for the deaths of two residents at the Claremore Veterans Center.

Kenneth Adams was bound over Tuesday on charges of second-degree murder and two counts of caretaker neglect for the deaths of 86-year-old Louis Arterberry and 85-year-old Jay Minter. Prosecutors accused Adams of neglecting his medical duties, leading to the residents' deaths.

At a preliminary hearing, prosecutors called five witnesses, including employees of the Claremore Veterans Center.

Arterberry's daughter, Glenna Hiseley, tells the Tulsa World (http://bit.ly/OoetUF ) that she's relieved the case is moving forward to trial.

Arraignment is set for April 10. Adams' attorney did not return a call seeking comment Wednesday.
