The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has issued an AMBER Alert for an El Reno girl following a machete attack Wednesday night.
The DPS says 8-year-old Mabel Lopez is believed to be with the suspect in the attack, 39-year-old ArcenioDeJesus, a Guatemalan native. Both the girl and DeJesus’ wife are believed to be in danger. They’re presumed to be on their way to Mexico in a gray 2005 Ford Explorer with the Oklahoma license plate 689LHD.

Luciano Salazar and Juan Carlos Rangel-Fiscal suffered cuts to their hands, face, and other extremities. Rangel-Fiscal’s hands were nearly severed, The Oklahoman reports:
Salazar had gone to a nearby store bleeding heavily when police found him. Salazar pointed to the house and told officers, "he is crazy,' about his attacker, according to a police report. Rangel-Fiscal was found in the back yard of the house. Salazar and Rangel-Fiscal were flown to an Oklahoma City hospital. . . . Brown said the motivation behind the attack is unclear. The two men were living in a house on Elm with three people who are now sought.
