This is the Manager’s Minute.

We have some staff updates this week. StateImpact Oklahoma reporter Quinton Chandler has left to take a new job in Dallas. Quinton earned numerous awards over more than three and a half years on the criminal justice beat at StateImpact.

Three OU students will be part-time KGOU employees this fall. Ryan Gaylor, Tristen Watkins and Gabriela Tumani will each be hosting and reporting.

Also this fall, we welcome two Gaylord College students – Beth Wallis and Cate Howell - to the KGOU practicum class where they will handle news reporting and community calendar announcements.

And, finally with Katelyn Howard moving into a new role producing How Curious segments, we’ve hired University of Missouri journalism graduate Hannah France to take her place as KGOU News reporter. Hannah will join us in early October.

With the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
