Key Information under the About tab

This is the Manager’s Minute.

The work is complete on KGOU’s annual audit. KGOU business manager Cindy Cottrell and our auditors worked together since late November to make sure the audit is accurate and clean.

The audit is required by the University of Oklahoma and is necessary for KGOU to keep receiving critical funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. The audit is one of the CPB requirements that we must comply with each year. Others include preparing a Station Activity Survey, complying with CPB underwriting rules and completing anti-harassment training.

This year, KGOU will receive more than $151,000 in CPB Community Service Grant dollars, which is about 10% of the station’s annual operating revenues.

The new audit is posted on our website, kgou.org, under the key information tab. While there, you can also see KGOU’s Local Content and Services Report, Diversity and Equal Opportunity Reports, meeting notices for the OU Board of Regents, links to our FCC public inspection file, donor privacy policy and editorial standards.

If you have questions contact me at manager@kgou.org.

Until next time, with the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
