Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercise, as well as a cool down.
Registration required; walk-ins accepted if space permits. Library card required for all participants. Provided with support from the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative (OHAI).

Join nationally recognized yoga teacher Megan Amelia Burnett for a weekend of Yin theory and practice. Experience what stillness and the softer approach to posture can do for your body.
This 2-day, 15 hour training is designed for yoga teachers but is open to practitioners of all levels.
THE EXPERIENCE:You will learn:- The History of Yin Yoga- Concepts of Yin Philosophy- Postures & Techniques- Anatomy: Yin in our body systems- Yin as a Complementary Practice- Teaching Methodology: Cueing, Theming, Sequencing- Restorative Yoga & Using Props- Modifications & Contraindications- Yin Assists- Integrated Breathwork & Meditation- Sample Sequences
