Community Calendar

This family-friendly charity walk is one of 500 across the country that raised over $40,000 last year to combat hunger and poverty in Norman, as well as across the globe. It is organized by volunteers from local faith groups and community organizations.

Amshot’s art opening, exhibITion: Evolutions in Blue, featuring new works by OKC-based artist Laurel Payne, will take place at amshot, 1300 N Broadway Dr. in Oklahoma City, on Thursday, October 23, from 5pm to 8pm. The art opening is all-ages and free to attend. A suggested $5 donation for light bites, wine, and local beer from Wells (21+) benefits the Oklahoma Monarch Society, as does 10 percent of all art sales.
