Light The Night is more than a walk—it’s a powerful evening of hope, remembrance, and community as we come together to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and stand alongside individuals and families impacted by blood cancer.

Experience an inspiring evening filled with connection, celebration, and the beautiful glow of illuminated lanterns, each representing a personal story and our shared commitment to a world without blood cancer.

Whether you’re walking in honor of someone you love, celebrating your own journey, or simply showing your support, there is a place for you at Light The Night.

Together, we bring light to the darkness of cancer.

Mini-Laps is the sweetest event of celebration. Each student takes a lap around the track as announcers share their Little Light House journey with the crowd. Parents fundraise in preparation for their little ones to show all their hard work.

Amshot’s art opening, exhibition: Just Scribblin’, featuring artwork by Oklahoma City-based multidisciplinary artist Ashton Letton, will take place at amshot, 1300 N Broadway Dr. in Oklahoma City, on Thursday, October 29, from 5pm to 8pm. The art opening is all-ages and free to attend. A suggested $5 donation benefits Curbside Enterprises, as does 10 percent of all art sales. A Night with Anne Lamott — Thursday, Nov. 5, 6 p.m. — New York Times bestselling author Anne Lamott (Bird by Bird, Operating Instructions) appears in person at First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City (1201 N Robinson Ave) for a fireside conversation, audience Q&A, and book signing benefiting the Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship Program. Join us at Lake Stanley Draper in Oklahoma City, OK for the Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon, a meaningful race dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. Whether you’re running in tribute, alongside a veteran, or as a veteran yourself, this event is a powerful way to show gratitude and community support.
 
As a token of appreciation, all Veterans race for FREE, and Active Duty military can participate for just $15. Family members and supporters are encouraged to join at the regular registration rate and be part of this special day of recognition and celebration. (ID Required - any form of government issued Military ID)
 
All participants will receive a custom finisher medal upon crossing the finish line—because every mile run in honor of our heroes deserves to be celebrated.

For those looking to compete, this race delivers. Awards will be presented to the Top Three Male and Female Overall finishers in each distance, as well as the Top Three Overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters Male and Female finishers. In addition, the top three athletes in each of the traditional five-year age groups (starting at 10 & Under) will earn awards across all race distances.
