Tickets are on sale now for an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil benefiting Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma (GSWESTOK).
In addition to crawfish, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes, the second-annual event will include yard games, beer and live music. Proceeds from the event support Camp Trivera, including STEAM programming for Girl Scouts.
“Crawfish Boil is about more than delicious food; it's a celebration of community, fun and the mission of Girl Scouts,” said GSWESTOK CEO Janienne Bella. “This event embodies the spirit of unity and support that fuels our mission. With every bite savored and every laugh shared, we're not just enjoying a memorable event—we're empowering our girls and building a brighter future for them."

Recovery Dharma is a peer-led movement and community that is unified by our trust in the potential of each of us to recover and find freedom from the suffering of addiction. We believe that the traditional Buddhist teachings, often referred to as the Dharma, offer a powerful approach to healing from addiction and living a life of true freedom.
We believe that recovery means empowerment, and we support each other as partners walking the path together. We believe that recovery is rooted in finding our own inner wisdom and individual journeys.

WildCare Oklahoma's Spring 2024 WildCare Baby Shower: Better Together will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendance will be limited to 200 guests per hour to ensure the best possible experience for visitors and the animals in care. Registration is free and available online, by calling WildCare at (405) 872-9338, or emailing info@wildcareoklahoma.org.
Building on the 2024 Baby Shower theme of Better Together, visitors will get to meet some of the injured, ill, or orphaned wildlife in care at the center, vote for the cutest baby of 2024, learn about ways WildCare is improving efficiency and outcomes of the work, see where WildCare is in the process of building new enclosures, learn about some of WildCare's new research initiatives, participate in wildlife themes activities, and see the new Songbird Enclosure. WildCare will be officially dedicating the new songbird enclosure at 1:30 p.m. during the baby shower.
Visitors will be able to tour the facility with friends and family and learn from our veterinary team, wildlife rehabilitation staff, and volunteers about the varied species cared for at WildCare.
This is the one time per year people can visit and get a behind-the-scenes look at WildCare and the wide range it does for the community and throughout the state of Oklahoma.
If you can't attend but would like to send a baby shower gift to help care for the over 7,400 animals admitted to WildCare annually, visit www.wildcareoklahoma.org to see the baby shower wish list.
