This free, family-friendly, annual event is the perfect opportunity to learn about cactus and succulents, see unusual and impressive plants from the personal collections of club members and to pick up a few new plants to add to your collection. Grower-vendors will be on hand to answer questions and give care tips and there will be educational talks throughout the day. Kids can pot up a free plant in a pot of their choosing and door prizes will be given throughout the day.

This September, make your way to Norman's Ink the Block Party. This family-friendly street festival will feature live music, live mural painting and an art market. Make sure to catch the demonstration of a steamroller creating a large-scale woodblock printing. The 2026 Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) and SEASAM Youth will be Oct. 2-3 on the Chickasaw Nation Historic Capitol Building grounds in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The competition art show and market is open to artists from federally recognized Southeastern tribes. The deadline for entry for adults is Aug. 29 and Sept. 18 for youth.
