The FireLake Fireflight Balloon Festival will offer two days of balloon glows, balloon launches and rides, and family-friendly entertainment in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Come and watch balloons, catch quality live entertainment, and experience some of Oklahoma’s best vendors and food trucks.

Admission to the festival is free, including parking, drone show and live entertainment. Guests are encouraged to bring cash for the vendor market, food trucks, tethered rides ($25) and kids’ activities ($10 wristband). There is one ATM on site.

The 2nd Friday Norman Art Walk is a celebration of arts and creativity held monthly in the Walker Arts District of Downtown Norman. Through a collaboration of artists, art organizations, businesses and the Norman Arts Council, the entire area becomes an arts mecca, culminating in a wonderful experience of music, visual art and lots of fun. Cops & Kids invites families to join Shawnee law enforcement and first responders for a day of outdoor fun this August. Kids will have the opportunity to ride in police cars, see motorcycle demonstrations and meet with law enforcement members from local, state, tribal and federal levels during the event. Plus, there will be interactive fun, including games, food, vehicles, giveaways, entertainment and more.
