Car Donations Support Public Service Journalism And KGOU

This is the Manager’s Minute.

Mark Twain said, “Everyone talks about the weather, but no one ever does anything about it.” We certainly talk about the weather in Oklahoma, but now a lot of us are having to do something about it.

The historic hailstorm that passed through our listening area on April 28th left a narrow, but extensive, trail of destruction that will take months to repair.

In addition to home damage, many of us also saw what massive hail can do to cars. That includes me. If you’ve had your car damaged, you might consider what I’m doing – donating it to KGOU.

It’s a simple and easy process, and when you donate you make a real difference. Your car, truck, van, RV, boat, or other vehicle will be picked up, for free, and if you itemize you get a tax deduction. Call 855-277-2346 and donate today.

Thanks.

With the Manager’s Minute, I’m Dick Pryor.
