Late last week, Congress narrowly voted to defund the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. It’s going to have an impact on operations not just for NPR and PBS nationally, but also for local stations, including KGOU.

In addition to individual donations, business sponsorships are essential to the funding that allows KGOU to serve you.

After almost twenty years as membership director at KGOU, veteran radio journalist Laura Knoll is retiring. KGOU names Cate Howell as her successor.

Individual and business support for journalism has been waning for a few years now. And, KGOU is not immune. That's why we're asking for your generous support today.

With the 2023 fiscal year nearing an end on June 30th, KGOU is renewing efforts to increase its membership revenue with a goal of 500 more donations by the end of June.
