Join us for a bite-sized adventure for school holidays. Our Explorers Day Camps transform a simple day off into an unforgettable educational adventure. Whether digging into paleontology, unraveling ancient mysteries, or stepping into the shoes of a scientist, campers will experience the museum in a whole new way—full of excitement, creativity, and discovery. Explorers Camp is where learning meets fun, new friends are made, and young minds embark on a journey they’ll never forget!

Cost per day: $55 (Member youth) and $70 (Non-Member youth).

Come one, come all to the opening celebration of the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library’s new spotlight exhibit, When the Circus Comes to Town!
On Thursday, October 10, at 7 p.m., for a fun-filled evening! With free admission, you’ll get to enjoy a special showing of Charlie Chaplin’s film The Circus (1928). Put your unique skills in the center ring at our talent show—unicyclists are more than welcome!
We’ll have light refreshments to munch on, and don’t forget to grab a bite from Life’s Lemons food truck, which will be serving up some delicious snacks. We can’t wait to see you there for what’s sure to be a fantastic night! Don’t miss out!

The Sam Noble Museum hosts its annual Spooktacular Curiousiday on October 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests join hands-on activities, compete in costume contests, and enjoy creepy surprises while celebrating the spooky season with a scientific twist. Outside, Scoops Ice Cream and Ferrylicious food trucks serve sweet and savory treats.
Designed for ages 8-12
In this hands-on class, kids will explore the art of Dale Chihuly and his vibrant glass works, Macchia. Using clay and colorful glazes, students will sculpt and decorate their own unique bowls while learning about form, texture, and the expressive power of color. Please dress for mess!
Finished clay pieces will remain onsite to dry and be kiln-fired. Families will be notified by email once the artwork is ready for pickup.
This class is designed for kids ages 8-12. All supplies will be provided.

Join us for fun learning activities that teach kids how to discover their family history! We will start our learning at the Edmond Library where kids will learn how to use our many resources to locate family history. After lunch, we will walk to the Edmond Schoolhouse, Stephenson Park, and the Edmond History Museum for more fun activities, including learning how to make a family tree and have fun with yearbooks. We will walk back to the Edmond Library and conclude our day with wrap up activities, and a photo booth, where families can take pictures together! Kids will need to bring their own lunch, and we will provide snacks throughout the day. Once you are registered, you will receive an email with more details!

Introduce your 3-5 year-old to science concepts through doing, discovering, and making! In this engaging seasonal session, we aim to prove that skeletons aren’t spooky–– they’re spectacular! Through hands-on activities and playful experiments, young learners will discover how bones help bodies move, grow, and thrive.
Cost: $15 (Member parent/child pair) and $20 (Non-Member parent/child pair); $10 for one additional child and $5 for each additional adult in a group. No more than 2 children per adult please.

The Sam Noble Museum's "Spike’s Club" inspires children to love learning through active exploration and play. Each Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. children will explore different natural and cultural history themes. During this installment of Spike’s Club, children will investigate the wide range of colors and patterns found in nature.
Get ready for a Halloween hoedown at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum’s HalloWest.
Don your best Halloween costumes and enjoy thrilling festivities with a western twist. Join in on trick-or-treating through the museum’s turn-of-the-century town, Prosperity Junction, and explore Town Square. There will also be crafts, face painting, and lively western dancing. Cowboys and cowgirls alike won’t want to miss the HalloWest event at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum this October.

The Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library will host their annual History Never Dies Carnival on Saturday, October 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Visitors to this free event will find games, food, treats, candy, and, of course, costumes. This is a child—and family-friendly event, so be sure to bring kids of all ages to celebrate with us in our circus-themed Halloween carnival!
