Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. Each class includes warm-up, stretching, cardio, balance, and strengthening exercise, as well as a cool down.
Registration required; walk-ins accepted if space permits. Library card required for all participants. Provided with support from the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative (OHAI).

Oklahoma City University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program is hosting the PhysioFit 5K and Color the Stars Fun Run fundraiser on campus Sept. 27.The PhysioFit 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. with a course around campus and surrounding neighborhoods. Runners of all levels are welcome. The one-mile, non-timed Stars Fun Run will begin at 10 a.m., featuring powdered "color stations" along the way. The event will conclude with a Finish Line Festival featuring food trucks, games and wellness booths on the Quad Lawn in the center of campus. Proceeds from the event will support student-led health initiatives and outreach programs.

Join Red Coyote for our annual Runtoberfest tradition! There will be running, beer, awesome race medals, and best post race party in OKC! The Runtoberfest 5K is brought to you by Red Coyote, COOP Aleworks, and Fassler Hall.
Runtoberfest will be a beautiful 5K/3.1 mile course that winds through Heritage Hills and starts and finishes in front of Fassler Hall! The party continues after the race with Coop Aleworks Beer, giveaways and music. You do not want to miss this awesome event with fun for the entire family!
The music, movements, and joy dancing brings! Join us as we learn about Salsa dancing and learn some basic steps together.
