Humans Meeting Humans is a free, monthly community gathering in Oklahoma City designed to make it easy for people to meet other people—its just what it says ... humans meeting some humans!

- When: 3rd Thursday of each month, 7–10 p.m. (next: Thursday, Sept 17, 2026)
- Where: Stonecloud Brewery, OKC
- What happens: Simple games, light crafts, and “not name tags” to spark connection.
- Who it’s for: Anyone craving community—newcomers to OKC, remote workers, folks between seasons of life, and long‑time residents who want to know their neighbors.
- Community piece: HMH often partners with local groups so attendees can plug into other organizations, causes, and activities after they meet us.
- Vibe: Low‑barrier, welcoming, and intentionally human. The only goal is for humans to meet other humans, one brewery night at a time.

Join us for Luxe Affair: Psychedelic Elegance, Oklahoma Contemporary's stylish biennial fundraising celebration and one of the most anticipated evenings on the city's cultural calendar.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of bold fashion, immersive art, inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, live entertainment, and unexpected experiences. The atmosphere is electric, and the experience is designed to reflect the creativity, individuality, and adventurous spirit that define both Wayne Coyne's artistic universe and the arts community we serve.

Throughout the evening, guests will encounter immersive installations, live performances, interactive experiences, and opportunities to connect with fellow arts supporters, creatives, and community leaders. Blurring the line between celebration and performance art, Luxe Affair invites guests to embrace curiosity, creativity, and the joy of the unexpected.

Proceeds from Luxe Affair ticket purchases and sponsorships support Oklahoma Contemporary's free admission and educational programs, helping ensure the arts center can continue to provide innovative exhibitions, impactful community programming, and accessible arts experiences for audiences throughout Oklahoma.

The National Kidney Foundation invites the Oklahoma City community to step up in the fight
against kidney disease at the 2026 Oklahoma Kidney Walk, Saturday, September 26, at
Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Kidney disease affects millions of Americans, and many don’t know they’re at risk. The
Oklahoma Kidney Walk brings together patients, families, healthcare professionals, supporters,
and the community for a morning of hope, awareness, and action.

Doors open at 9:00 a.m., with music, family-friendly activities, community partners, inspiring
stories, and more. The Kidney Walk begins at 10:30 a.m.

Participation is open to everyone. Form a team, walk with family and friends, or come out and
show your support for Oklahomans impacted by kidney disease.

Every step helps raise awareness and supports, the National Kidney Foundation’s work in
patient programs, education, advocacy, and lifesaving research.

Join us Saturday, September 26, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and take a step toward a
future free from kidney disease.
