The region’s first Hope Summit is coming to Norman on May 8, and community leaders won’t want to miss it. The free, daylong event will focus on the science of hope and how it can be used to strengthen personal and organizational outcomes across every sector. The Norman Hope Summit is presented by Hope Rising USA and will be led by renowned hope scholars Chan Hellman, PhD, and Angela Pharris, PhD–both from the University of Oklahoma’s Hope Research Center. Attendees of the Norman Hope Summit will:
Learn how to boost employee retention, student success, community health, personal wellness and organizational impact using the science of hope;
Receive teachable, evidence-based practices for measuring and growing hope in individuals and organizations;
And much more!

Join staff and guests at Lake Eufaula State Park for the Global Big Day this May. During the event's two time slots, participants will observe birds around the park while keeping a list of all species found. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a pair of binoculars to get a great look at the park's aerial inhabitants at Lake Eufaula State Park this May.

The Oklahoma Venture Forum, to recognize successful Oklahoma businesses' achievements, has produced these awards annually since 1989. The OVF Venture of the Year, Most Promising New Venture, Economic Impact and Incubator Tenant are four of the most prestigious recognitions a company can receive.
