Using a limited black-and-white palette, participants will learn how to create bold, high contrast prints that echo the mood, structure, and tonal depth of Adams’s photographs. Using the painterly method, this class focuses on capturing atmosphere through shape, value, and negative space, transforming photographic inspiration into striking silkscreen art. Perfect for beginners and experienced printmakers alike.

Whether digging into paleontology, unraveling ancient mysteries, or stepping into the shoes of a scientist, campers will experience the museum in a whole new way—full of excitement, creativity, and discovery. Through guided instruction, registrants will learn to capture the emotional impact of the natural world—not just what it looks like, but what it feels like.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Chase Spivey is the Creative Director at Uncanny Art House and an award-winning videographer who has produced video & photo content full-time since 2014. His work includes music videos screened at DeadCenter (Sisteria’s Pale in the Darkness) and the Los Angeles Film Festival (Jabee’s Hope). He co-founded and directed the Norman Film Festival from 2018 to 2021 and has earned Addy Awards for his work with local marketing agencies.

Browse T-shirts, tumblers, wood crafts, leather goods, cosmetics, candles, decor and more during this shopping extravaganza. The craft fair benefits the college ministry of Bethel Baptist Church.
