Using a limited black-and-white palette, participants will learn how to create bold, high contrast prints that echo the mood, structure, and tonal depth of Adams’s photographs. Using the painterly method, this class focuses on capturing atmosphere through shape, value, and negative space, transforming photographic inspiration into striking silkscreen art. Perfect for beginners and experienced printmakers alike.

Chase Spivey is the Creative Director at Uncanny Art House and an award-winning videographer who has produced video & photo content full-time since 2014. His work includes music videos screened at DeadCenter (Sisteria’s Pale in the Darkness) and the Los Angeles Film Festival (Jabee’s Hope). He co-founded and directed the Norman Film Festival from 2018 to 2021 and has earned Addy Awards for his work with local marketing agencies.
