The Edmond History Museum, in conjunction with Eagle Scout candidate Reagan Grau, presents “Be Prepared! The History of Scouting in Edmond,” an exhibit that explores the origins of scouting in Edmond, as well as how scouting in Edmond has changed.
The exhibit features scout uniforms, patches, equipment and carvings, plus the original 1913 application of Troop #1! Troop 1 is Edmond’s oldest Boy Scout troop, and although it began in Oklahoma City, it moved to Edmond in the 1960s and is now one of the longest-chartered troops in Oklahoma.
