Experience the magic of the season at Ardmore’s Festival of Lights in Regional Park. This 1.5-mile drive features over 150 animated displays, making it one of southern Oklahoma’s largest and most dazzling holiday light shows. Enjoy the festive atmosphere from the warmth of your car as you take in the colorful lights and holiday spirit. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted.
Experience one of Oklahoma’s brightest holiday traditions as Yukon’s annual Christmas in the Park lights up City Park, Chisholm Trail Park, and Freedom Trail Park, with more than 500 displays and millions of twinkling lights. Every night from November 22 through December 31, visitors can enjoy the magic by car with the drive-through route, stroll the illuminated trails on foot, or hop aboard the Santa Express Train for a festive ride through the parks.
The Downs Family Christmas Lights in Norman is one of the most spectacular light displays at a private residence in Oklahoma. Each year since 2007, nearly two months of work have gone into creating a wonderful display with two "mega trees" that are 70 feet tall, ten mini trees and 20-foot long arches, all created out of over 280,000 lights.
Drive through a winter wonderland at Lights on the Lake, held at the East Recreation area of Lake McMurtry. During the first three weekends of December, visitors see large holiday displays and twinkling lights wrapped around the surrounding trees. The event runs through January 3 and offers a glowing seasonal experience for families and friends to enjoy from the comfort of their vehicle.

Celebrate the holiday season by viewing Christmas trees grown and decorated by Oklahoma Native Tribes during the annual Red Earth Treefest from now until the end of the year. Held in the BancFirst Tower in OKC, this nine-week holiday event at the Red Earth Art Center is open during the regular hours of 10 am to 5 pm and feature Christmas trees covered in handmade ornaments showcasing the many Native cultures of Oklahoma.

THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride is a magical re-creation of the classic children’s story led by a cast of talented actors on board a real train. Have your golden tickets ready for the Conductor! Dancing chefs serve passengers hot chocolate and Walker's Shortbread cookies, enjoy a reading of the classic book by Chris Van Allsburg, and receive the First Gift of Christmas after Santa boards the train to greet families. Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the classic story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ for a magical one-hour trip to meet Santa. Once on board, your car hosts will work their way through the coach and punch your golden ticket before hot chocolate and delicious Walker’s Shortbread are served by dancing chefs. Passengers then read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg.
Santa and his helpers board the train to greet passengers and each guest is given the first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. During the trip, characters on each car lead passengers in caroling and onboard entertainment just like in the film! Each guest will take home a keepsake sleigh bell in addition to the wonderful memories made on this magical trip. First Class passengers also receive a collectible THE POLAR EXPRESS™ ceramic mug to take home.
Celebrate the holidays at the Edmond Outdoor Ice Rink in Mitch Park. Skate under the stars and soak up the festive spirit with family and friends.
