Featuring over 60 animatronic dinosaurs, skeletons, photo ops, and rides - Dinosaur Expedition will engage guests with prehistoric creatures from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Triassic Periods. Identify which OKC Zoo animals are the living relatives of the dinosaurs that once roamed the earth, and how supporting the Zoo's conservation efforts can help save these species!
The Oklahoma City Zoo and Bank of Oklahoma want to celebrate World Giraffe Day with you! “Herd” out to the OKC Zoo on Saturday, June 6, to learn about the Zoo’s tallest residents and efforts being done to protect wild giraffe populations and their habitat. Participate in caretaker chats, interactive games, and enrichment events happening from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Expedition Africa, presented by Inasmuch Foundation. The fun continues as guests can take part in scheduled giraffe feedings for free presented by Bank of Oklahoma. These experiences will be free for all guests, while the food lasts for the giraffes, on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 during both feedings, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Oklahoma Zoological Society will be hosting Plush for a Purpose with opportunities for fans to support giraffe conservation, adopting a plush giraffe for a $25 donation. The first 500 Zoo guests to visit on Saturday will receive a free water bottle sponsored by Shape Your Future, a program of TSET. World Giraffe Day activities are free with Zoo admission which can be purchased in advance at www.okczoo.org/tickets. #WorldGiraffeDay

Starting on June 7, spend your Saturday mornings on the OKCMOA Roof Terrace, a scenic spot to vibe and take in the sights and sounds of downtown Oklahoma City. Enjoy locally sourced pastries and refreshing drinks available for purchase—the perfect prelude to a day of film and fine art.

The exhibit Bizarre Headgear presents evolution to the extreme. 12 foot antlers and billboard sized heads are just some of the dramatic examples of bizarre headgear on display. See the amazing ways evolution has equipped the prehistoric animal world for combat and courtship. From the evolution of giant horned dinosaurs to their outrageous mammalian counterparts, this exhibit traces evolution of bizarre head structures throughout time.

Uncanny Art House is hosting a two-day garage sale to support the space and make room for the next series of shows and events coming later this year and into 2027. We are clearing out a wide variety of items from past exhibitions and daily operations and looking to find them new homes.Items available will include art supplies, camera gear, electronics, furniture, clothing, party items, exhibition props, and much more. Whether you are an artist looking to stock your studio, a thrift lover hunting for something unique, or someone who enjoys a good dig, there will be plenty to discover across both days of the sale. This is a strictly in person event. No items will be available for purchase online.

Visit Riversport OKC this June for an evening of delicious food and live music at Bluegrass, BBQ & Brews. The festival will feature live bluegrass music from Oklahoma band The Bottom of the Barrel paired with barbecue, beer and summer activities at Riversport including tubing and surfing.
Explore a monumental outdoor installation by Oklahoma City–based artists Denise Duong and Gabriel Friedman that transforms Campbell Art Park into a site of story, symbolism, and discovery. Conceived as a constellation of six sculptural forms, including a head, a hand, and four birdlike spheres, the work invites viewers to enter a world where order and chaos intertwine.
Every Saturday at 11 a.m. we’re hosting Stories & Specimens for children and families! In this engaging program, children are invited to gather for a lively story time, where fascinating tales spark curiosity and set the stage for exploration.
Each session dives into a themed topic, connecting stories to science and cultural history with museum objects that let kids see, touch, and discover in our interactive Discovery Room.
Best of all, Stories & Specimens is included free with museum admission, making it the perfect way for young learners to enjoy interactive storytelling and hands-on exploration all in one visit!

Discover, play, and create at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art during our Spotlight event series! Just My Type invites visitors of all ages to drop in and enjoy hands-on art-making inspired by artists who experiment with letters, symbols, and punctuation.
Exclaim your excitement as you search for hidden words in the galleries, design your own expressive emoticon, and make abstract images using letters in the alphabet from A to Z.
