Featuring over 60 animatronic dinosaurs, skeletons, photo ops, and rides - Dinosaur Expedition will engage guests with prehistoric creatures from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Triassic Periods. Identify which OKC Zoo animals are the living relatives of the dinosaurs that once roamed the earth, and how supporting the Zoo's conservation efforts can help save these species!

Guests will explore the animated world of Dia de Muertos through a unique collection of 2 and 3-dimensional artwork. From the work of early pre-Hispanic cultures to the 21st century, Lives of the Dead offers 1000 years of artistic visions of the dead. The exhibition emphasizes current and vintage Latin American folk art. From Papier-mâché (cartoneria) skulls and skeletons created by the famous Linares family to the ceramic tableaux and Catrinas of Metepec, Lives of the Dead brings together some of Latin America’s most renowned folk artists. Other exhibition highlights include antique prints by Jose Guadalupe Posada, Manuel Manilla, and Dia de Muertos, as seen in contemporary paintings and prints from Mexico. Visitors will also experience the celebration and beliefs behind Dia de Muertos with the inclusion of an elaborate Mexican style ofrenda.

The Oklahoma History Center Museum, in partnership with the Vietnamese American Heritage Community of Oklahoma, is proud to announce Our Journeys, presented by Vietnamese Boat People, a multimedia traveling exhibition on display September 12, through January 4, 2027.

Created by New Jersey-based nonprofit Vietnamese Boat People, the exhibition centers the voices of Vietnamese Americans through oral histories, photographs, and interactive elements that explore migration, memory, and resilience across generations. The exhibit debuted in 2025, marking the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon and the displacement of millions of Vietnamese refugees whose stories continue to shape communities across the country—including here in Oklahoma.

The exhibition is included with regular museum admission.

The Oklahoma State Fair is one of the top State Fairs in North America, showcasing our state's agriculture, manufacturing, and commerce. It's everything from family entertainment and educational exhibits to exciting competitions and just plain fun!

Galactic Expo comes to the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City for the first time September 19–20 for a weekend of shopping, readings, learning, and exploration.

Meet psychic readers, mediums, tarot readers, astrologers, energy workers, and natural wellness practitioners, and shop vendors offering crystals and minerals, jewelry, books, candles, herbs, body products, clothing, altar items, gifts, home décor, and more.

Free lectures are offered hourly throughout the weekend and are included with admission, along with hourly door prizes.

Explore a monumental outdoor installation by Oklahoma City–based artists Denise Duong and Gabriel Friedman that transforms Campbell Art Park into a site of story, symbolism, and discovery. Conceived as a constellation of six sculptural forms, including a head, a hand, and four birdlike spheres, the work invites viewers to enter a world where order and chaos intertwine.

Experience the culture of India during the annual India Food & Arts Festival hosted at downtown Oklahoma City's Scissortail Park this September. Dine on authentic food from all different regions of India while shopping for clothes and jewelry from several cultural stalls throughout the event. Take in vibrant elements of Indian culture through dance performances including Bollywood, classical temple and folk dancing as well as a fashion show, live music and traditional art shows. Don't forget to visit the artists' zone, full of activities where guests of all ages will learn traditional Indian crafts and art forms.

Come select the perfect pumpkins to decorate your home at the Pumpkin Patch in Stillwater. Over 3,600 pumpkins will be for sale over the course of this seasonal attraction. There will also be special events each weekend including live music, children's carnival, bake sale, pancake breakfast, carriage rides, and trick-or-treat at the pumpkin patch.
