Explore a monumental outdoor installation by Oklahoma City–based artists Denise Duong and Gabriel Friedman that transforms Campbell Art Park into a site of story, symbolism, and discovery. Conceived as a constellation of six sculptural forms, including a head, a hand, and four birdlike spheres, the work invites viewers to enter a world where order and chaos intertwine.

Come select the perfect pumpkins to decorate your home at the Pumpkin Patch in Stillwater. Over 3,600 pumpkins will be for sale over the course of this seasonal attraction. There will also be special events each weekend including live music, children's carnival, bake sale, pancake breakfast, carriage rides, and trick-or-treat at the pumpkin patch.

OCU will offer an inside look at the city’s leap onto the global sports stage as it hosts official 2028 Olympic events. The Martha Jean Lemon Distinguished Speaker Series presentation will be a panel discussion with some of the key leaders tasked with preparing the city for this historic moment. Mayor David Holt will lead the conversation with Michael Byrnes, president of the Team OKC planning organization; Craig Cress, CEO of USA Softball, Inc.; and Mike Knopp, founder of RIVERSPORT.

Theatre Crude Fringe Festival is an 11-day event in Oklahoma City that will present 22 different live theatre productions across three venues. Carpenter Square Theatre presents the comedy King James by Rajiv Joseph. The title King James refers to King LeBron James. It's a story of friendship and a small market's love for the professional basketball team. Pictured are the cast Mikael Dashawn (in Cleveland Jersey) and Olen Cox. Show opens Friday, 9/11 & runs through Sunday, 9/27. Shows are Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm with two Sunday matinees at 2 pm on September 20 & 27.

The buyer, Shawn, just sold his first short story – so watching his team in the flesh for the first time will be a sweet reward. Now just to figure out what to do with that second ticket. Thrown together by chance, the next 12 years prove as defining, dramatic, and sometimes heart-breaking for Matt and Shawn as they do for the Cavs – and for “King” LeBron James. Multi-award-winner Rajiv Joseph delivers a clever comedy that is an intimate exploration of the place that sports occupy in our lives and relationships.

Edmond Urban Forestry is excited to host the 2026 Parks for Pollinators Photo Contest! There will be great prizes, including passes to Science Museum Oklahoma, passes to the OKC Zoo, an opportunity to go to PhotoCon this fall, and a free 8x10 photo print for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place from Bedford Camera & Video. We can't wait to see the images of plants and pollinators you all share. This is part of the Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz lasting through the month of September. Science Museum Oklahoma presents Spin! The Art of the Modern Zoetrope, now on display in the museum’s smART Space galleries through August 2027. The exhibition features works by eight artists who reimagine the 19th-century zoetrope, an early animation device that creates the illusion of motion through rapidly sequenced images. Interactive exhibits explore motion, perception, vision persistence and animation, and are included with museum admission.

Featuring over 60 animatronic dinosaurs, skeletons, photo ops, and rides - Dinosaur Expedition will engage guests with prehistoric creatures from the Jurassic, Cretaceous, and Triassic Periods. Identify which OKC Zoo animals are the living relatives of the dinosaurs that once roamed the earth, and how supporting the Zoo's conservation efforts can help save these species!

The exhibit explores how Oklahoma’s 400-plus miles of drivable highway shaped communities along the route and continues to draw travelers today.

Route 66 was created in 1926 and quickly became one of the most consequential roads in American history. For Oklahomans, it was an escape route during the Dust Bowl, an economic lifeline for roadside communities, and eventually a casualty of the interstate system. “The Longest Stretch” traces that full arc, from the road’s rise to its decline, and into its revival through preservation and tourism.

Major artifacts on display include a 1915 Model T Roadster, a restored Taft Stadium sign, a Big Boy statue, and a 1961 Corvette on loan from the National Corvette Museum. Hands-on interactives will allow visitors to engage directly with the story of Route 66 and its evolution over time.
