Session 1: We’ll begin with a visit to "Dale Chihuly: The Oklahoma Collection," focusing on the distinctive shapes and forms in his artwork. In the classroom, participants will create their own Chihuly-inspired clay bowls using slump and slab techniques. The session will wrap up with time to refine each piece by smoothing surfaces or adding details.
Session 2: Our second session begins with another look at the exhibition, exploring Chihuly's use of color. In the studio, participants will refine their vessels by sanding and smoothing, then add lines, patterns, or other details before completing their bowls with vibrant glaze.
Join us Saturday, October 18 from 5 to 6pm for a guided walkthrough and conversation with featured artist James M. Bond.
This Q&A explores the visual language, process, and themes behind In the Company of Paintings. Gain insights into the show’s immersive elements and the symbolism embedded in each piece.
Whether you are an artist, student, or enthusiast, this is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the creator and engage with the concepts behind the work. Seating is limited and early arrival is encouraged.

In this operatic adaptation of Henry James' chilling novella, the children of the Bly household eagerly welcome a new governess who initially finds them to be happy and well-adjusted. Soon, however, they begin to exhibit the strange behaviors of their former governess and valet. Both died in untimely accidents and now are appearing to the new governess as ghosts. Are the ghosts real? Did they do unspeakable things to the children? Or, is it all in her head? Contains adult themes and suggestions of sexual violence.
