THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride - OKC 🎫 A magical reproduction of the classic children’s story led by a cast of talented actors on board a real train! Departing Nov 14 - Dec 28, 2025

Set to the sounds of the motion picture soundtrack, passengers will relive the magic of the classic story as they are whisked away on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ for a magical one-hour trip to meet Santa. Once on board, your car hosts will work their way through the coach and punch your golden ticket before hot chocolate and delicious Walker’s Shortbread are served by dancing chefs. Passengers then read along with the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg.

Santa and his helpers board the train to greet passengers and each guest is given the first gift of Christmas – a silver sleigh bell. During the trip, characters on each car lead passengers in caroling and onboard entertainment just like in the film! Each guest will take home a keepsake sleigh bell in addition to the wonderful memories made on this magical trip. First Class passengers also receive a collectible THE POLAR EXPRESS™ ceramic mug to take home.

THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride is a magical re-creation of the classic children’s story led by a cast of talented actors on board a real train. Have your golden tickets ready for the Conductor! Dancing chefs serve passengers hot chocolate and Walker's Shortbread cookies, enjoy a reading of the classic book by Chris Van Allsburg, and receive the First Gift of Christmas after Santa boards the train to greet families. Performers engage passengers in caroling and fun holiday activities on the heartwarming trip back to the station.

The rink offers free parking, open skate sessions, concessions, safety helmets, WiFi, and indoor restrooms. Make lasting memories this season at one of Edmond’s favorite holiday traditions.

Join us Nov. 20 for the annual Brennan Lecture at OCU Law! The 2025 lecture, titled "The Attack on American Cities," is based on the lecturer's book manuscript in progress and "chronicles the law and politics of anti-urbanism, describing how state and federal governments are aggressively preempting municipal legislation, threatening local officials with removal and, in some cases, taking over cities’ core municipal functions."

The lecture will be presented by Professor Richard Schragger from the University of Virginia School of Law.
