Celebrate fall at the annual Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross. Enjoy a peaceful day filled with family-friendly fun at an authentic working sheep farm in Claremore. You'll find more than 60 free activities such as a pumpkin patch, hay maze and game area. You can also pet sweet farm animals like sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas. Look around the farm for the QR code scavenger hunt and watch short videos about farming and shepherding.

Tractor-pulled wagon rides are available for a fee and loads of pumpkins will be available for purchase. Bundle your fall fun with a Pumpkin Package that includes a pumpkin, wagon ride and a take-home craft. Browse the Farm Store housed within an old Amish barn to shop for handmade decor, gifts and wares from more than 80 vendors. Pick up some local honey, meat, eggs, produce, baked goods, candy and snacks.

We all have an inner artist, and some even act upon it. Join us in the beautiful, well-lit Conference Room to work on your project. Find support, ideas, and maybe make some friends as you all work on your projects.

Supplies are not provided, just bring what you are working on and everything you will need. [Registration Required.]

Learn how to transform everyday kitchen scraps and yard waste into rich, healthy compost for your garden. This program covers the essentials of composting, including the basic guidelines for creating and maintaining a compost pile, what materials can and cannot be composted, and an overview of different composting methods from traditional piles, to tumblers, and vermicomposting. We'll also discuss the benefits and uses of compost tea to boost plant health. Perfect for adults interested in reducing waste, improving soil health, and cultivating a thriving garden.

Please note, this program is designed for adults but all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by their adult(s).

In this operatic adaptation of Henry James' chilling novella, the children of the Bly household eagerly welcome a new governess who initially finds them to be happy and well-adjusted. Soon, however, they begin to exhibit the strange behaviors of their former governess and valet. Both died in untimely accidents and now are appearing to the new governess as ghosts. Are the ghosts real? Did they do unspeakable things to the children? Or, is it all in her head? Contains adult themes and suggestions of sexual violence.

Join us for a heartfelt and unforgettable evening at the Oklahoma Primate Sanctuary Gala, where compassion meets celebration. This special event brings together supporters, animal advocates, and community leaders to raise critical funds for the lifelong care of primates rescued from research labs, the pet trade, and other inhumane conditions.

Set in an elegant venue, the gala will feature a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, silent auctions, and inspiring stories from the sanctuary. Guests will hear directly from caregivers and advocates about the lives forever changed by sanctuary care and learn how their support helps provide nutritious food, expert veterinary services, enriching habitats, and around-the-clock care for over 90 primates.

All proceeds from the evening benefit the Oklahoma Primate Sanctuary’s mission to provide lifelong, enriching care for retired and rescued primates. Your attendance and generosity ensure that each monkey, macaque, and lemur in our care can continue to live with dignity, safety, and freedom from harm.
